Text and images you change yourself through a web page — there's no software to install and it takes about five minutes. You get a written guide at handover showing exactly where to click. What you don't get is a drag-and-drop editor. This is a fast, secure site rather than WordPress, and that's a deliberate trade-off: nothing to hack, nothing to update, nothing that breaks when a plugin changes. If you'd rather have a system where you log in and rearrange pages yourself, I'm not the right person and I'll tell you that before you spend anything. If you'd rather I made a change, I quote it — usually a couple of hundred dollars, scheduled a fortnight out.

The sites you read about being hacked are almost always WordPress — they have a database, an admin login and a stack of plugins, and attackers scan for one that's out of date. Your site has none of those parts. No database, no plugins, no admin panel, no login page anywhere. It's a set of finished HTML files, so there's nothing to break into and nothing that needs patching. Every version is stored in your own account, so even in the worst case the whole site can be restored in about a minute.

AI generates pages. It doesn't decide what should go on them, write copy about your actual business, set up your domain and hosting properly, test that everything works, or take responsibility when something breaks. The build itself is the fast part. What you're paying for is a finished job you don't have to think about, delivered by someone who'll answer the phone if it isn't right.

About $25 a year — that's your domain renewal, paid to your registrar. Hosting is free. There's no monthly fee, no maintenance plan, nothing renewing and nothing to cancel. Most quotes for a site like this carry $100 to $300 a month on top of the build price. This one doesn't.

Yes. The domain, the code and the hosting account are all registered in your name from day one, not mine. When the build's finished I remove my access and I'm no longer involved. If you want to take the site to another developer next year, everything they need is already yours — no export, no permission, no conversation with me.

For 30 days after handover, if something I built is broken, I fix it at no charge. That covers faults, not changes of mind. After that the engagement is complete — no retainer and no support plan. Your handover pack includes a plain-English page on what to check if anything looks wrong, so any competent developer could pick it up in under an hour.

The site is built to be found: page titles and descriptions written for each page, structured data so search engines understand what your business is and where it operates, a sitemap submitted to Search Console, and your suburbs and services worked through the copy. It also loads in under a second on a phone, which Google weights heavily. What I won't do is promise a position — nobody controls that, and anyone who guarantees it is selling you something.

Online shops, customer logins, booking systems with payments, blogs and content management systems all sit outside what I build. If that's what you need, I'll say so up front rather than taking the job and disappointing you. Better a straight answer now than a bad fit later.

I take on a small number of builds at a time, so there's usually a wait of a few weeks. Once your intake form is complete and the deposit is paid, the build itself takes about ten business days.
